How Do I Configure the Cache in Netscape 4.5 - 4.7?

Netscape 4.5 and higher On Windows machines, cache size and location preferences are set by selecting the PREFERENCES option from the EDIT Menu. Expand the ADVANCED category by clicking on the plus sign (+) and then selecting CACHE. An editable field in the panel allows you to set the directory location of the disk cache. Radio buttons are provided to clear the disk or memory caches.

Macintosh
On Macintosh, the memory cache size is set in the Get Info dialog box: from the Finder, select the Netscape application and choose the FILE > GET INFO menu item. The disk cache size and location are set in the NETWORK > CACHE panel. A BROWSE button in the dialog box allows you to set the directory location of the disk cache. By default, Netscape places the Macintosh disk cache inside the Netscape Preferences folder within the System Folder.
